Like most things in life, when it comes to the weather, there are people who enjoy and those that don’t. Take summer for example – are you a sun worshipper heading to the beach for your all over bronze tan? Or, do you just feel hot and bothered and lethargic in the heat.

What a year this has been - you must admit that nothing about it has been normal. Now that 2021 is here, it is time to put 2020 to bed! Let’s look to a brighter future and take into it all the lessons we learned in 2020.

How our lives have changed this year! If anyone had ever predicted a year like 2020 – who would have believed them? As a manufacturer of gorgeous vintage dresses, so many of our ladies are saying – I wish we could wear all these lovely dresses!

Choosing specific colours is a reflection of our mood, personality and mindset at the time. And, you may end up getting it wrong! Breezing into the boardroom meeting in pink and purple stripes may not be the ideal OOTD. On the other hand, arriving at a fun tropical beach party in dull brown and grey is equally as bad.

Dressing for work takes up a large part of your morning rush. Time is limited, traffic is peaking, kids need to go to school, breakfast and work-lunch must be prepared. There are a zillion things on your mind. And, you need to look stylish, well-presented and most-of-all – feel comfortable for the next 8 hours.

Today’s movies are filled with amazing special effects, high-speed action and state-of-the-art photography. But, ladies, nothing beats a heart-warming girls-night-in, old fashioned film! Especially those where the stars of the silver screen are dressed to the nines in stunning vintage-inspired looks.

The ladies of years gone by have certainly shown us what classic hair styling is all about. Just look at these glam beauties and consider that they had no fancy formulated hair products or modern technology. Yet, they managed to look ultra-stunning, elegant and sophisticated.
